BBC documentary Muslims Like Us | My Opinion.

Muslims Like Us is a new documentary aired by the BBC. It involved 10 very different Muslims, Sunni, Shia, Arab, Asian, African and Europeans who stayed under one roof for 10 days. The main concept of the documentary was to see what defines a good Muslim and what being a part of the Muslim community really means and how it fits in modern Britain.

Todd DeSantis
Grab your snacks because this is a long one! But, before I start, let me know about the layout of this post because it took a lot of trial, errors and time to achieve. What do you think of it? Do you like it or do you want me to change it? *Also, you'll only be able to see it properly on a desktop. - Right, let's begin... This post is following my previous post 'stand up for yourself'. It's only right if I give you some ways which help you start this new journey.

Stand up for yourself.

For every wrong, there’s a right. If someone is doing something wrong that doesn’t give you the right to do nothing and watch wrong happen in front of you, instead you do something about it. We’ll often come across situations where

Stop underestimating yourself.

In life we all underestimate ourselves. We all think we’re not good at something but in reality we all have different natural talent(s). We underestimate ourselves by thinking we are not good and we should be better. We have a habit of thinking that we are not good at anything. Well, let me tell you that you are amazing the way you are and you have your own unique talent.

School Life feat. Arya

Annie Spratt
Today we have Arya from Anything and Everything talking to us about her school life! I think it's really important to actually listen to others and get an insight of their lives because it's interesting and opens your mind to the fact that no one has the exact life as you: some people struggle and others don't but every life experience is valuable.

Ramadan Q&A: All you need to know.

Varshesh Joshi
Ever since I first started fasting up until now I receive soo many questions about fasting and the holy month of Ramadan. However sometimes people are scared to ask because they don't want to say anything wrong. I'm very relaxed, laid back and open minded therefore I don't take questions that I get asked by people about my religion or culture in the wrong way because I know people are only asking because they're interested to know, otherwise why would you ask- right?

You don't need a man to make you happy!

Source
Lets just face the fact that more girls have an illusion that they need a man to make them happy. I saw something the other day which I'm not going to go into detail about but it shocked me a little, hence why I'm writing this post. I've wrote a post similar to this before which is 'find yourself before your other half'. This post is dedicated to those (mainly young) girls who think they need someone to make them happy or to complete them.

Does a degree buy you manners?

Source
Have you ever seen someone go for a degree to gain ‘respect’ or a certain status? Instead of doing it because you love it and have goals to meet in life, some people do it for a certain status. I don't believe a degree buys you manners or respect. I agree that you gain a certain amount of knowledge and understanding of the subject. I agree that not EVERYONE is like this. But, I'm just passing my opinion on the few people who are like this.
