Everyone is born with a good heart

I want you all to imagine a baby or toddler okay? Now imagine playing with them and how would that make you feel? Being able to see their smiles and hearing their cheeky laughs. I assure you that everyone who is reading this will feel loved, and will have an automatic
smile on their face. When they do anything you will say 'awwww' and how innocent are they? Pure, a heart of gold and nothing but innocent at that age. In their own little worlds, playing, having a laugh, enjoying and exploring the world.

We were all young innocent babies at some point, right? I know that we are all born with a good, kind, and loving heart. It's the way we grow up that has a massive impact on us but no one is ever 'bad'. We all grow up in different environments, surroundings, and cultures etc. We all are given an identity and the way we grow up and what we see, what we do and how we behave has a massive impact on the person who we end up becoming into.

Everyone is born with a good heart but some just forget their inner kindness. So if next time someone is mean to you just smile because they are ill and they have forgotten what kindness is. They just need a little reminder so they can acknowledge that they have a kind heart deep down. Never fight fire with fire because you'll only get a bigger fire right
So try to help them if you can.

I believe everyone is born with a good heart and it's the environment that we are surrounded by encourages who we become. Everything comes in life as we grow older because no one was born 'evil'. I want to finish with a quote I recently found by Nelson Mandela.

''I never lost hope that this great transformation would occur. Not only because of the great heroes I have already cited, but because of the courage of the ordinary men and women of my country. I always knew that deep down in every human heart, there is mercy and generosity. No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than it's opposite. Even in the grimmest times in prison, when my comrades and I were pushed to our limits, I would see a glimmer of humanity in one of the guards, perhaps for just a second, but it was enough to reassure me and keep me going. Man’s goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never extinguished.'' - Nelson Mandela

What is your opinion on this matter?
I would love to hear what you have to say so leave a comment below.

  1. great post as always, rose! your blog always makes me think! ha I think it'd definitely important to be nice to people even if they aren't to you- you never know it could brighten their day!

    1. Thank you Lee! I love your latest floral blog post <3 I'm glad my blog makes you think ;) haha!

  2. This is such a beautiful post! I agree that everyone is born with a good heart and learns evil throughout life. Though unfortunately I'm not sure that everyone can be taught to be loving again. I've seen a few people who, despite karma and other lessons, still end up doing the same horrible things.

    1. Thank you very much for sharing your experience and commenting Lili :)! I think it depends on how much the person has been brought up in a certain environment to think like that. There will still be more hope to a person who might be 'evil' for a month than a person who has done 'evil' all of their lives. Nevertheless I suppose they need that something to touch them in the heart so they revive that goodness again <3 xox

  3. Beautiful post. It's not always easy to see that light, but everyone has it. Have a fun week!

    xo, Bry
