8 ways to feel more productive

Thanks to Anthony Delanoix for the beautiful visual representation.
There is nothing worse than feeling sluggish and unenergetic. However, I personally feel like that feeling can be improved to make you feel motivated and full of energy if you do some of the following!

Drinking more water leads to more energy which means you can do more in your day. There’s no worse than feeling dehydrated and most people downplay the importance of water. Drinking plenty of water means keeping your body hydrated.

Wake up early:
Wake up early so you can get more done in the day. If you’re not used to waking up early then it will be hard to get into the routine for the first week or so, but as soon as your body gets adjusted to it, then you will love waking up early. Waking up early is the best feeling ever, especially during sunlight hours and it sounds super peaceful.

Exercise, in any form, even walking, or taking the longer route will give you strength and energy. Exercise is crucial for a healthy lifestyle and it’ll only benefit you. Exercising gives you this great strength and if you exercise early in the morning, then throughout the whole day you’ll feel awake and like you can do anything and everything.

Sleep early:
Getting enough sleep is crucial. Wake up early and sleep early. Sleeping early will help you to get up early in the morning. Getting enough sleep is important for a productive day.

Use less technology:
Get rid of all of that technology. Technology is good when you use it correctly. But being stuck to your phone really drains your energy. If you stop excessive use of technology and get involved in the real world, you’ll not feel as drained.

Good thoughts:
Our thoughts have a very powerful influence over us. When we wake up, start to programme yourself and tell yourself how you want your day to go. Thinking positive thoughts will help your mood to be great throughout the day. Then, you will get more done.

Stop delaying things:
Stop procrastinating and delaying things. Get things done straight away or as soon as possible. There isn’t a better feeling than ticking loads off your checklist or to-do list. Don’t leave your clothes on your bed, instead put them in their place straight away. When you stop delaying things, you get this energy in you wanting to do more.

Motivational speeches/quotes:
YouTube is great for motivational speeches and Google is great for inspirational quotes. Listen to them now and then, to feel inspired. I’m unsure why, but listening to inspirational or motivational speeches just makes you feel invincible.

Do you do anything differently? How do you feel more productive?
I would love to hear your opinions below.

Thank you for reading!
Until next time, take care and keep smiling.
