9 ways to do more in life

Thanks to Sandra Chile for the beautiful visual representations.
The worst feeling ever is letting laziness get in your way of doing more or not knowing what more to do in your life, especially, when the new year has just begun. Today, I share 9 ways to do more in life!

Stop procrastinating:
Change the way you think, get up and get stuff done. Stop procrastinating and delaying things. It’s all in the way you think. If you manage to change your mind then you’ll be able to get more done. As soon as you think, that you have something to do then get up and do it.

Change of mind:
This links to the first one but changing the way you think is a huge factor. If you want to, you can achieve anything, it’s all about how you approach things and think.

Do more of the things you love:
Doing more of the things that make you happy and you enjoy doing will lead you to do more in life. Stop making excuses up and start doing more of the things that make you happy. Every minute you spend on making excuses up, is a minute wasted.

Work hard:
Take advantage of your youth, fitness and health. Work harder than ever so you can feel fulfilled and like you have achieved something in life. Yes, constantly working hard drains you, but, leave some time to relax and do the things you enjoy. Working hard doesn’t mean you can’t have a balance of enjoyment and work.

A great way to do more things is to volunteer. Just google it, if you have to and volunteer for different things. You can volunteer to work somewhere, or even to raise money for charity. Volunteering doesn’t mean it has to be a set job, it can be anything, anything you enjoy doing. Volunteer more and you’ll be surprised at how many different things you can volunteer for. Volunteering is also great for experiencing different and new activities, as well as learning.

Find a new hobby. It can be anything. There are a lot of many different types of hobbies out there. The only thing you need to do is find what you enjoy doing.

Don’t be scared:
Of grabbing opportunities, saying yes or going outside of your comfort zone. Stop being scared and just start to live a little. And… It’s OK to say 'no' sometimes too. You know when you’ll be ready for something new and if that time isn’t now, then, that’s totally fine. Grabbing new opportunities doesn’t mean saying ‘yes’ to everything. It means doing new things that you are comfortable with at that very moment in your life. Many people love staying inside of their comfort zone and I for one am guilty of doing this. But, once you start going outside of your comfort zone, even if it’s a little bit, then you begin to change. And that’s the place your world (and thoughts) really start to change.

Plan an adventure:
You can go anywhere. Go somewhere you haven’t been before, near or far. Go explore the world and see what adventures are waiting for you out there. You don’t need a lot of money to go on a great adventure, you can go somewhere near and make it the best trip ever!

Change your house:
Redo a room you don’t love, redo furniture you don’t like, start decorating more, start organising things, or even put a mirror up somewhere. The choices are unlimited. There are so many different ways you could change your house and make it a home which you enjoy and love being at.
Aside from your normal daily activities what else do you do?
How do you keep yourself busy?

Thanks for reading!
Until next time, take care and keep smiling.
