4 ways to say 'NO' including 12 phrases.

Here are four ways to say No. Ever wanted to say 'no', but couldn't find the right words? Well this post shares 12 phrases.
Thanks to Andy Tootell for the beautiful visual representation.
Sometimes saying ‘no’ can be difficult for us all, especially, if you have always said yes. Hopefully this post helps you to think of different ways you can politely say 'no' and gives you some helpful advice.

Be straight up.
Don’t beat around the bush and be honest. Just say no. You don’t owe anyone anything so be straight with them. You don’t need a whole story of why you’re saying no. Just do it.
Share your feelings.
Don’t pretend like everything is perfectly fine and you can handle everything. Share your feelings and be honest with the other person. If you can’t possibly do something then just say it. Sometimes, we all put more pressure than we can handle on ourselves, so it’s best to be honest and straight about it.
Put yourself first.
Put your needs first. Don’t neglect yourself and know that it’s OK to put yourself first. You deserve to be happy too and if you can’t take care of yourself then how can you expect others to.
Reason?
Is there a real reason? If so then, feel free to say no but if there isn’t then think about it. Why are you saying no? Is it because you have a genuine reason or that you simply don’t want to?
Here are 12 phrases you could try out to help you say no:

1.
No thanks, I don't think I'll be able to manage that.
2.
I don't think I'll be able to.
3.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to commit to that right now.
4.
Maybe next time.
5.

I'm really busy, I just can't, sorry.
6.
Sorry, I won't be able to.
7.
I'm actually doing something else then.
8.
I don't know what I'm doing then, so I can't promise anything.
9.
I would love to, but I just can't.
10.
Sorry but I can't fit it in my schedule right now.
11.
Thanks for asking me but it won't work, sorry.
12.
No.

What did you think of this post? How do you say 'no'?

Thank you for reading!
